Orbit Global ("we," "us," "our") is a global remote-job discovery, application-tracking, and relocation-guidance tool. This policy explains what information Orbit Global collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. This is a plain-language summary of our practices and is not a substitute for independent legal advice.
When you create an account and complete onboarding, Orbit Global collects information you provide directly, including:
If you upload a resume, Orbit Global uses an AI model to extract structured information — skills, work history, and a short summary — so we can show you a match score against each role and highlight relevant strengths and gaps. Only that structured data is stored on your profile; we don't store or share the raw text of your resume beyond what's needed to generate it. Your profile and resume data are never shown to other Orbit Global users, and are only visible to you and to Orbit Global administrators for support and moderation purposes.
Job listings shown on Orbit Global come from public, third-party sources — including Remotive's open job feed and individual employers' own public job boards (via Greenhouse, Ashby, and Lever). We don't control these listings and recommend reviewing a company's own site before applying. Applying to a role takes you to the employer's own application process, which is governed by that employer's own privacy practices.
Orbit Global Pro is a paid upgrade processed through Stripe. Orbit Global never sees or stores your card details — Stripe handles payment information directly, and we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with basic billing status, so we can unlock Pro features on your account.
Your profile, saved jobs, tracked applications, and feedback are private to your account — other Orbit Global users cannot see them. Access controls in our database enforce this at the data layer, not just in the app's interface.
You can edit or remove most of your profile information at any time from the Profile page. You can permanently delete your account from Profile → Danger Zone, which removes your profile, saved jobs, tracked applications, and feedback records. This action cannot be undone.
Questions about this policy or your data are welcome any time — reach out through the app and we'll get back to you.
